To those volunteers who helped out at the last Working Bee—thank you for an absolutely fantastic job! It was wonderful to have so many hands on deck and the centre is looking better than ever! There were lots of tedious and time-consuming jobs that we don’t always get to during our working day but which contribute to the smooth operation and presentation of Canberra Potters. Having them done with such enthusiasm made the day run as smoothly as I could have wished.
Thank you again for taking time out of your busy days, and I look forward to having you on board next time!
Our next Working Bee will be in the winter school holiday break on Thursday 26 July and we’d love your help. You don’t need to stay for the whole day (although you can) just come in and do a job or two from the list.
- Clean windows
- Clean cobwebs from the eaves/verandas
- Sweep/rake outside
- Quick garden tidy (picking up rubbish, pulling up any obvious weeds)
- High pressure hose outdoor areas
- Clean hand tools/equipment in the workshops
- Wipe down tables, tidy shelves in workshops
Contact Katrina Leske via email firstname.lastname@example.org to let her know you’re coming. We will be providing the hard working team with a lunch and refreshments.
