Canberra Potters Open Day is Sunday 5 November 2017. As part of the activities a pottery/ceramic market will be held in the Watson Arts Centre gallery.
Stall holders will be selected from information provided in the application form (below) and photos supplied with that application. Canberra Potters members will be given selection preference but application is open to members and non-members. All applicants will be notified of the selection outcome.
All work to be sold must have clay as its major component. Only products included in your application and approved by us may be sold. If, between being selected for a stall and market day, you decide to add something different to your stall, a request in writing with photos will be required for approval.
The fee for a 3m wide x 2m deep space is $75 (inc GST). There may be a few smaller spaces 2m x 2m spaces available at a cost of $50.
Market times are still to be confirmed but will likely be:
- Bump-in 9.30am to 11.45am (stall to be ready for trading by 11.45am)
- Open noon to 6pm
- Bump-out 6.15 to 8pm
Stall furniture, equipment and supplies
- You need to supply your own table(s) and/or display furniture, table coverings, chair, wrapping paper/bags, cash float, card facilities (if you have them), eg everything that you need for your stall.
- Table coverings must reach to the floor on all sides visible to the public.
- Take some time to think about your stall set-up in advance – we are aiming for a quality market look.
