GALLERY

Watson Arts Centre's spacious 129m² gallery presents a continuously changing calendar of exhibitions in various media. Exhibition proposals are welcomed at any time.

Located in the North Canberra suburb of Watson, the gallery is easily reached from Northbourne Avenue/Federal Highway and has ample free parking space.

The gallery is also available for hire (when not in use for other exhibitions) by artists and community arts and crafts organisations having suitable public liability insurance. Please contact us for further information.

The gallery is equipped with a selection of plinths and three large moveable partitions. Use of our kitchen facilities makes catering for your exhibition easy.

When submitting an application it should be accompanied by a brief proposal for the exhibition (eg curatorial rationale, concept, idea), artist statement(s) and CV(s). Details of any technical requirements should also be supplied along with a drawing/layout of installation if appropriate. Visual material (eg slides, images as prints or on CD) can be sent with the application or electronic images can be emailed to wcac@canberrapotters.com.au.
