Opened at Watson
Arts Centre in October 2001, potters place is an initiative
of Canberra Potters’ Society. It provides a permanent retail outlet
for the work of some of the Society's professional and
semi-professional members.
Twenty talented people currently supply and staff Potters Place so
whenever you visit us you’ll find people who can talk to you about
the works on display. You may even be lucky enough to meet the maker
of your purchases. They work with a variety of clays: earthenware,
stoneware and porcelain, using their skills and creativity to
produce objects you’ll love to own or give as gifts.
Make time to pay us
a visit in Watson – you’ll find plenty of beautiful things to browse
through. And if you’re looking for a gift but can’t decide what to buy,
a potters place gift voucher could make the ideal present.
