Stocked with the
work of local potters, potters place offers a wide range of
functional wares for the home, colourful and decorative garden
items, ceramic jewellery and unique sculptural artworks.
Opened at Watson
Arts Centre in October 2001, potters place is an initiative
of Canberra Potters’ Society. It provides a permanent retail outlet
for the work of professional and semi-professional members of the
society. The shop is run as a co-operative with shop members
undergoing a peer-selection process.
