2008 MEMBERS' EXHIBITION
|
Susie McMeekin has kindly agreed to judge the 2008 exhibition. Susie is a potter of 25 years' experience who lives in Katoomba in The Blue Mountains, NSW. Susie is one of few second-generation potters in Australia and is the daughter of Ivan McMeekin, a distinguished Australian potter who was the founder of the Sturt pottery workshop in Mittagong and a founding member of the Potters Society of Australia. Susie started working with her Dad in 1978. She works in Porcelain and Stoneware clay, concentrating on only a few glazes: Chun, Celadon, Tea Dust and Ying Ching. |
